Just Do It !!!

This incident happened an year or two back, when I used to travel to ITPL daily. On one fine day,on my way back from work, I was taking the Outer Ring Road, when I was stuck in the usual evening traffic on ORR. If you notice, this jam on ORR in evenings could last for hours if u're lucky!!! (in sarcastic sense). When I was in the bus waiting for the traffic to clear, there was an Ambulance stuck in the traffic, trying to get ahead in the traffic. Nowadays, its a common sight in Bangalore for ambulances to get stuck in traffic and trying vehemently to get away from the traffic to reach their destination at the earliest. I am not sure, how many people might've died like this, while the ambulance is stuck in Traffic. On this particular day also such a thing happened and I was wondering or pitying the state of the person in the ambulance. When suddenly I noticed that some good samaritan(who was also stuck in traffic) started clearing way for the Ambulance, by directing the vehicles in front of ambulance to make way for it. I was really impressed by this act of the person clearing the traffic to make way for the ambulance :-) I had no words to describe his noble act.  May such people flourish in the world :-)
Many times, we know how important it is for an ambulance to get to a hospital, when they get stuck in jams and we just pity their situation and sit quiet witnessing their plight. But we don't get up and act to make things easy for them to get ahead. This is the general attitude of the public in general, which is not good ideally. We should get up and act and try to see if we can make way for ambulance in the traffic, in whatever way possible, so that one life can be saved. After seeing the act of that person that day, I felt, we should stop thinking and start acting in situations, where the action is of most importance. As the Nike ad says, we should adopt the, "Just Do It" philosophy :-) This will definitely will help many people and also, we will feel good that we did one noble act which helped a person in need.
So overcome your procastination attitude and "Just Do It" from now onwards :-)
