Recently I have been witness to a strange(or a nostalgic) scene while going to Hesaraghatta(in Banaglore, where IIHR is located). On my way to hesaraghatta, in Chikkabanaavara, I saw people standing in queue(like it used to be n still is for Kerosene in many parts of Karnataka)... The first thought which came to my mind was that these people may be standing for buying Kerosene, distributed through public distribution system. But when I saw a LPG distribution lorry standing next to them I was bit startled !!! Upon close observation I could make out that the people were there to collect their LPG cylinders. They were standing in queue and arguing with the LPG distributor(just like the Kerosene distribution). On seeing this I remebered my childhood days, when we also used to stand in queues to collect our share of the Kerosene from Janatha Bazaar or Govt. Fair Price shop. The other day I was talking to this new guy who joined our co. regarding our company. during this talk, I mentioned to him about a person in our organization, who is technically very efficient, but sometimes has very bad temper and he openly says(in all possible forums) some things to people, which we feel is not appropriate. I was telling the new guy that though this person is like this, hez very capable and its very difficult to find bugs in his code!!! At that moment the new guy says, "ya that's true, when anyone has capability, there will be some attitude problems". I was like taken aback for a second by this answer/response !!! Don't know what was the reason, but somewhere I felt some strange sensation. Suddenly, I was thinking whether this is true? If true, whether I've observed it in other situations or not? And so many things crossed my mind in a rush.... I am yet to find an answer to the questions which rose during that moment. I am not sure whether the ...

           This incident happened last yr around July.That time I came across 2 kinds of people who worship God(usually Brahmans) in two different places in karnataka and there was a huge difference between the 2 kinds. The thing so happened that during our recent trip to Gokarna I found one kind of a Brahman and then when I went to Chitradurga I found another kind. To top it all both were kind of two opposites, I can say.              At Gokarna, the priests at the Atmaling temple, take you with them for performing poojas and they offer you different packages(i mean different types of poojas at different rates) too!!! When we went to the temple, some priest took us for performing the pooja(it was almost forcibly u can say). Finally I have decided to blog in public space. Hope the experience will be a pleasant one :-) Though I have blogged on yahoo 360 before, those were mostly private or restricted to friends only. There was something which was holding me back from publishing my thoughts on public space. Now I have decided to take the plunge and post my blogs to wider audience. So that's it for this blog...
